Unlike the international class, this program uses Indonesian as the primary medium of instruction, featuring a deep focus on healthcare services that are sensitive to Indonesian culture. The curriculum is comprehensively designed based on evidence-based practice, integrating theoretical instruction, laboratory work, clinical skills simulation, and early field practice across diverse healthcare settings. The total academic load for this program is 145 credit units (SKS), completed in a structured and gradual sequence to ensure students achieve both academic and professional competencies. Students are equipped with critical thinking, clinical reasoning, therapeutic communication, leadership, interprofessional collaboration, and foundational nursing research skills to foster professionalism from an early stage.
Supported by faculty members holding doctoral degrees and professorships, alongside an academic environment that meets national and international standards, this program prepares graduates to advance to the Professional Nurse (Ners) education stage. The program has achieved an Unggul (Excellent) accreditation rating from LAM-PTKes as well as international recognition through accreditation from AHPGS (Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Sciences), reflecting the alignment of its educational quality with national and global standards. Upon completing the program, graduates are awarded the degree of Bachelor of Nursing (Sarjana Keperawatan / S.Kep.) as academic recognition of their achieved scientific competence.
