Graduation Held Offline, FoN UI Graduated 239 Graduates

The Faculty of Nursing, University of Indonesia (FoN UI) on Saturday, September 10, 2022 again held offline student graduations. This is the first offline graduation to be held since the COVID-19 pandemic two years ago.

A total of 239 Doctoral, Masters, Specialist, and Undergraduate Students At the UI Graduation Even Semester 2021/2022 successfully graduated from FoN UI with good and satisfying predicates. In addition to the Balairung of UI Depok, the graduation procession was held in the FoN UI building. The graduation ceremony at the Balairung of UI Depok was attended by representatives of graduates from FoN UI who achieved the highest GPA and cum laude predicate as well as other FoN UI graduates attending the graduation procession at the Education Building and FoN UI Laboratory.

The Dean of FoN UI, Agus Setiawan, S.Kp., M.N., D.N., in his welcoming speech said that for two years the online graduation ceremony had been held and was limited by the outbreak of Covid-19 cases. But on this day given the opportunity to be able to meet face to face with the graduates. Agus also congratulated and conveyed a message to the graduates who will carry the name of FoN UI in the community to always practice knowledge to contribute to the surrounding community and maintain the good name of FoN UI wherever they are.

In this period, the number of graduates who graduated was 239 graduates, from the Bachelor Program as many as 71 graduates, the Specialist Program 37 graduates, the Master Program 97 graduates, and the Doctor Program 4 graduates.

The graduation ceremony was divided into two sessions: the first session for university graduation and the second session for faculty graduation. The event was followed by a graduation procession in each faculty. The faculty’s graduation was marked by the transfer of the gown by the Dean of FoN UI for undergraduate, specialist, master, and doctoral programs. The faculty graduation ceremony was closed with a song sung by Dr. Wiwit Kurniawati, M.Kep., Sp. Matt. entitled Kesraan, the song was followed by all lecturers and students who were present by turning on the flashlight on their respective cellphones.
