Dr. Novy H.C. Daulima, S.Kp., M.Sc. is a lecturer in the Mental Health Nursing Department at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Indonesia (FoN UI), and a member of the Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing research cluster. Her primary areas of expertise include mental health and psychiatric nursing, community mental health, adolescent mental health, substance use and rehabilitation, and the psychosocial experiences of individuals and families affected by mental illness.

As an active researcher, she has produced more than 81 scientific works including journal articles, books, patents, and literature reviews, with 199 citations and an h-index of 8 based on Scopus data. Her research spans a broad range of topics, including the phenomenon of pasung (physical restraint and confinement of people with mental illness in Indonesia), the social function adaptation of people after pasung, self-stigma among adolescents with substance use disorders, relapse experiences in post-rehabilitation youth, suicide risk factors and prevention strategies in adolescents, cyberbullying and self-control in youth, and therapeutic group interventions for the elderly. She is also an active co-investigator in an international research project funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) on sustainable care for anxiety and depression in Indonesia. Her scholarly contributions support the achievement of SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions).

In community engagement, she has led mental health promotion programs for the academic community at FoN UI, with the aim of building practical mental health management skills, reducing stigma around mental health issues, and creating a supportive environment for all members of the faculty.
