About

As a faculty member at Department of Basic Science and Fundamentals Nursing, Dr. Enie is a lecturer for some fundamentals nursing course in bachelor program including Basic Concept in Nursing, Health Education and Promotion, Nursing Paradigm and Theories, Professionals ini Nursing, and Transcultural Nursing . She also involves as lecturer in graduate nursing program for Science in Nursing Course, and Ethic and Law in Nursing Course. Besides that, she is expert in development of nursing curriculum and education program. She is also works as the assessor and reviewer for nursing program accreditation at LAMPT-Kes.

Dr. Enie research interests in transcultural nursing since her master degrees and during her PhD, she developed a model of culturally sensitive nursing care for diabetic patient and improving the cultural competency of nurses for providing culturally sensitive nursing care in the hospital. Her publications and research interests are mostly related to transcultural nursing and cultural competence, one area of nursing which is concerned with the culture of the person in health care system.

Dr Enie involved in some community engagement activities related to the application of transcultural nursing and cultural care studies in some specific community in West Java; improving people healthy life style in specific community, and improving the caring attitude for nurses ini hospitals.
