About
As a lecturer in Faculty of nursing Universitas Indonesia I have responsibility to improve knowledge and experiences in order to give a good education to my students. Our responsibility not only giving lecture in the class, but also teaching students at clinic, conducting research and community services. As a lecturer Iam giving lecture about maternity nursing and women’s health, newborn, breastfeeding. As a supervisor or Clinical instructor I am teaching the students of bachelor and specialist program at the clinic at least twice a week. I Teach how to take care to the client especially women’s in maternity ward, delivery room and also postpartum ward. It is important to give some role models to the students in the clinic because the amount of information needed to take care of severely ill patients cannot be gained simply by experience on the bedside or floor or at the unit. Quality indicators like the incidence of patient fall, medication errors, Nosocomial infection and pressure sores are clearly reduced by two essential factors; the first one is ongoing nursing education and the second is adequate numbers of skilled nursing staff. As a researcher I am conducting some research in maternity and women’s health especially in the fields of breastfeeding, newborn and infertility. Some of My research already published at national and an international journal.
