ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE SELECTION OF CANDIDATES FOR DEAN OF THE FACULTY OF NURSING SCIENCE, UNIVERSITY OF INDONESIA FOR THE PERIOD 2025-2029

In order to welcome the election of the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Science, University of Indonesia (UI) for the period 2025-2029, we invite lecturers who are eligible to take part in the selection of Dean candidates. The following is information regarding the requirements, stages of activities, and administrative provisions that must be fulfilled.

DEAN CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

1. Have Indonesian citizenship and have never lost Indonesian citizenship.
2. Permanent residence in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia.
3. Not yet 60 (sixty) years old at the time of inauguration as Dean.
4. Physically and mentally fit.
5. Educated and hold a Doctorate degree, or a Specialist equivalent to a Doctorate.
6. Never been convicted or charged with a criminal offence with a minimum imprisonment of 5 (five) years.
7. Free from political and economic interests, not affiliated with political parties, and free from personal or group conflicts of interest that conflict with the interests of UI.
8. Willing to carry out duties as Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Science UI.
9. Never committed violations of the code of ethics and code of conduct.

ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS

1. Photocopy of identity card as proof of Indonesian Citizen.
2. Statement of willingness to become a Candidate for Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Science UI in writing.
3. A copy (photocopy) of a valid Doctorate, or Specialist diploma equivalent to a Doctorate, from the university concerned.
4. Health certificate from a doctor.
5. Photocopy of NPWP.
6. A complete curriculum vitae that includes data on work, experience, family education, accompanied by an executive summary of the curriculum vitae (no more than 2 pages, with the following provisions: Arial font, size 11, space 1, left-right-top-bottom margins: 4-3-3-3 cm).
7. A paper outlining the candidate's motivation to become Dean of the UI Faculty of Nursing, as well as his/her thoughts on the Strategic Plan and work programme based on the vision, mission, and general policies, which must be submitted in 2 versions:
   • Full description; and
   • Executive Summary of this description (no more than 10 pages, terms: Arial font, size 12, space 1, left-right-top-bottom margins: 4-3-3-3 cm).
8. A written statement under a sufficient seal, that he/she is not under legal process, is not serving a sentence, and is not deprived of his/her right to hold public office.
9. Written statement that the candidate is not an administrator of a political party within the last 5 (five) years.

23-26 December 2024: Preparation for the Opening of the Dean Candidate Selection by the Committee
27 December 2024 – 6 January 2025: Registration, Socialization and Document Upload
7-8 January 2025: Administration Verification by the Dean Candidate Selection Committee
9 January 2025: Announcement of Verification of Requirements and Completeness of Administration
10 January 2025: Submission of Dean Candidates by the Dean Candidate Selection Committee
13 January 2025: Dean Candidate Announcement
14-16 January 2025: Public Intake
17-30 January 2025: Assessment of Dean Candidates by UI Leaders (Exposure, Interview, Announcement of Results)
