For many working parents, one of the greatest dilemmas is how to ensure their children receive safe, healthy, and nurturing care while they remain productive in their professional roles. To address this need, the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Indonesia (FoN UI) established the Nursing UI Daycare— a childcare service that is now open not only to the university’s academic community but also to the wider public.
Located within the Faculty of Nursing UI building at the Universitas Indonesia Depok Campus, Nursing UI Daycare is more than just a childcare facility—it is a safe and comfortable space for children’s growth and development. Child safety is ensured through a smart security system with 24-hour on-site security personnel. Parents can feel at ease knowing they have direct access to live CCTV feeds from their personal devices, allowing them to monitor their children’s activities at any time. Beyond safety, each child receives regular developmental monitoring supervised by lecturers from the Department of Pediatric Nursing, ensuring that stimulation and milestones are always age-appropriate. Nursing UI Daycare also offers flexible service options—both daily and monthly—so parents can choose arrangements that best suit their routines and needs.
Nursing UI Daycare has officially obtained its Operational Permit: 421.1/0128/DPMPTSP/III/2025. The service is open to children aged 01–24 months (new enrollees) and can be continued until the age of 36 months.
“As a working mother, I was initially worried about leaving my child in daycare. But since enrolling at Nursing UI Daycare, I feel much more at ease. Every day I can monitor through CCTV, receive developmental reports, and see my child growing well. It feels like having a second family helping to care for my little one,” shared one of the parents using Nursing UI Daycare.
For many families, Nursing UI Daycare has become a real solution. Children are not only given the space to play, but also to learn, interact, and receive personalized attention according to their developmental stage. For parents, it represents tangible support—allowing them to remain productive in their careers while still giving the best care to their children.
