About

I am Dr Henny Permatasari, Community Nursing Specialist with a specialization in Occupational Health Nursing / OHN, born in Pelembang, a city in South Sumatra Province, Indonesia, on October, 1967. I completed my education from undergraduate to doctoral level at the University of Indonesia. I have served as a lecturer and field supervisor in Department of Community Health Nursing, Faculty of Nursing University of Indonesia since 1997. My scientific fields are Occupational Health Nursing in particular and Community Health Nursing in general. My field of specialization in nursing is workers health in various industrial sectors. Besides that, I also delivered Community Health Nursing topics to undergraduate students and Advanced Community Health Nursing topics to Masters and Community Health Nursing Specialists students. My research topics mostly about workers health. I have developed an Occupational Health Nursing model which I call MARIKERJA to improve the health status of formal workers with a shift work system. Most of my community service activities are targeted at formal workers in various factories in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Karawang, West Java, Indonesia areas.
