FoN UI Demonstrates Global Competitiveness: Dean Speaks at Nursing Research Forum in Taiwan

Taipei, 16 Juni 2025 — The Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Indonesia (FoN UI), once again demonstrated its role as a leading institution in nursing education and research on the international stage. The Dean of FoN UI, Prof. Dr. Rr. Tutik Sri Hariyati, S.Kp., MARS, participated as a speaker at the prestigious international event titled The Southern Asian Bilateral Nursing Research Forum: Enhancing Regional Collaboration in Nursing Research, organized by the College of Nursing, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan.

Held on June 16, 2025, at the NYCU campus, the forum brought together academics, researchers, and nursing professionals from various countries across Asia, including Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines. This event served as a vital platform for fostering strategic collaborations in nursing research, knowledge exchange, and strengthening the capacity of healthcare professionals amid increasingly complex global health challenges.

In her presentation, Prof. Roro shared FoN UI’s experience in integrating evidence-based nursing research into nursing policy and practice. She highlighted how research conducted by FoN UI’s faculty and students not only contributes to the advancement of nursing science but also has a direct impact on improving the quality of nursing services and promoting health equity within communities.

“We believe that strong and well-directed nursing research is a crucial foundation for building a health system that is inclusive, adaptive, and resilient. Through regional and global collaboration, we hope to expand the impact of the innovations we are developing in Indonesia,” said Prof. Roro during the forum.
