Lecturer of the Faculty of Nursing, University of Indonesia (FoN UI), namely La Ode Abd. Rahman, S.Kep., Ners., M.B.A. became one of the resource persons in the Digihealth Platform Socialization activity: Digitizing Health Workers and Webinars on Strategies for Health Workers in Facing Stress during a Pandemic. The activity, which was held on Sunday, October 10, 2021, was held offline and online. This activity was organized by the Ministry of Communication and Information in collaboration with the Indonesian Healthtech Association (AHI). La Ode Abd Rahman delivered material on the use of digital media for nurses. Digital media can be used by nurses as staff development, continuing education, general health information, and approval of nursing actions. Some digital media that can be used by nurses are Youtube BaPeNa PPNI, futurelearn.com, thepoint.lww.com, PAT Application and Oculus Facebook. La Ode also explained about the innovation that is currently being developed at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Indonesia, namely Virtual Reality (VR). VR is a technology that allows users to interact with their virtual environment. VR can be used by nurses as a medium of learning in improving their skills before meeting patients. VR can also be used as an innovation in providing nursing interventions to patients.
Currently La Ode Abd Rahman is developing a Website that contains VR content. This activity is funded by the Directorate of Innovation and Science Techno Park (DISTP) UI. The website contains practical material for nursing students. Hopefully in the future this website can be used by nursing students throughout Indonesia to help them improve their skills in nursing practice.
