On Tuesday (01/15/2019), the University of Indonesia Alumni Association Faculty of Nursing held an opening of the University of Indonesia Faculty of Nursing Alumni scholarship program at the Postgraduate Building at FoN UI Depok, Lt. 4
The event was attended by the Chairperson of the University of Indonesia Alumni Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Prayetni, S.Kp, MN .; Vice Chairperson of the University of Indonesia Alumni Faculty of Nursing, Purwadi, S.Kp, M.Kep., Sp.Kep.Kom; Fellow Alumni of the University of Indonesia Faculty of Nursing, Ns. Dadang Suharto, S.Kp., WOCN and Amelia Kurniawati, S.Kp., MN .; General Manager of Human Resources Fon UI, Dr. Sigit Mulyono, S.Kp., MN .; and several FoN UI students.
The University of Indonesia Faculty of Nursing Alumni scholarship program is not limited to being enjoyed by undergraduate students only, but also for postgraduate or professional (FoN) UI programs.
This scholarship is expected to solve financial problems faced by undergraduate and graduate students to complete their study program.
The scholarship model used by the University of Indonesia Alumni Faculty of Nursing is foster parents. So one katan Alumni Universitas Indonesia Faculty of Nursing is responsible for one student, could depend more on the ability of the relevant ILUNI.
There are already 13 FoN UI students who have received a scholarship from the University of Indonesia Alumni Faculty of Nursing with 10 foster parents from the University of Indonesia Alumni Faculty who have participated in this scholarship program.
The number of students can still increase following the number of students who need financial assistance to the University of Indonesia Alumni Faculty of Nursing.
Derived from the number of students who need this assistance, the University of Indonesia Alumni Faculty of Nursing will find foster parents who can help financially the students concerned, depending on their needs.
Aside from the foster parent model, the University of Indonesia Alumni Faculty of Nursing also opened opportunities for others who want to help this scholarship program by providing a package model where the profits will be used as additional funds to succeed in the scholarship program.
“The University of Indonesia Alumni Faculty of Nursing, wants to initiate to be able to how various problems of college can be supported by the University of Indonesia’s Alumni Faculty of Nursing. So (students) who need not have to feel ashamed or humble. This is like an ordinary program, like brother’s affection for younger siblings to be able to continue their studies. “Said Dr. Sigit Mulyono, S.kp, MN.
“We do not want anyone to drop out of study because there are limitations to the costs,” said Dr. Sigit Mulyono.
