Dr Robert Priharjo is a Senior Lecturer (Adult Nursing) at Anglia Ruskin University (UK). He has been working with the Cambridgeshire School of Nursing and Midwifery, Faculty Health, Education, Medicine and Social Care faculty since 2007. Prior to this appointment, Robert worked in different higher education institutions and health care services including Homerton College School of Health Study, University of Cambridge; Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS (UK), Ministry of Health, Health Polytechnic and Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta Indonesia. Robert obtained his doctorate from Anglia Ruskin University (UK) in 2012 and prior to this completion, he achieved his Masters in Nursing Studies from Manchester University (UK) in 2001, first degree in nursing from University of Indonesia in 1996, Medical surgical nursing certificate from Lambton College (Canada) in 1991, and Diploma of Nursing from Academy of Nursing Yogyakarta in 1988. His current teaching and research interests include long term-conditions such as diabetes, student’s information seeking behaviour, psychosocial aspects of diabetes and adult learning.
